rPET Backpack Material and Catalog Rebuild Scope
An rPET backpack is made from recycled polyester fiber produced from post-consumer PET bottles. For B2B sourcing, rPET is not a single fixed weight. Buyers can specify rPET shell fabric in weights and finishes matched to the backpack end use. Where waterproofing is required, rPET shell fabric can be specified with PU or PVC coating at 3000 mm+ or TPU lamination at 10,000 mm+. Camytonc can rebuild standard catalog backpacks in rPET, including laptop, travel and school formats, without changing the core pattern unless required.
Because rPET is managed as a special fabric in production planning, the backpack MOQ for rPET builds is 1000 pcs. This applies to catalog styles re-engineered in rPET and to custom eco friendly backpack programs. Standard fabric backpack MOQs remain separate at 500 pcs for base or embroidered orders.
GRS Certification and Chain of Custody
GRS, the Global Recycled Standard, verifies recycled content and chain of custody across the supply chain. It also requires environmental and social criteria in processing. Camytonc holds GRS certification as one of five certifications, alongside amfori BSCI, ISO 9001, SGS and TUV. For buyers, this means an rPET backpack order can be supported with recycled material traceability rather than an unverified eco claim. This supports due diligence for retail and corporate eco friendly backpack programs.
